At Authentic Vacations Adventures, your safety and peace of mind are our top priorities. We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy before departing for any trip booked with us.
While we take every precaution to ensure a smooth and safe experience, travel in Tanzania and East Africa may involve unpredictable factors including weather, health risks, and logistical delays. Insurance helps you manage unexpected situations beyond your control.
1. Mandatory Travel Insurance
Although we do not directly sell insurance, we require that all clients have valid travel insurance covering at least the following:

Covid-19-related coverage (recommended)
Proof of insurance may be requested before the tour begins, especially for high-risk activities such as Kilimanjaro trekking or safari adventures in remote areas.
2. What Your Insurance Should Cover
Before purchasing a travel insurance policy, ensure it includes:
